We are a research group supervised by Prof. Dr. König (Head of Neurobiopsychology) and Prof. Dr. Pipa (Head of Neuroinformatics) at the Institute of Cognitive Science at the University of Osnabrück. Our focus is on investigating human behavior in virtual reality (VR), especially with respect to autonomous driving. Overall, our goal is to find out how machine agents need to communicate with humans to generate trust and acceptance. After all, this is the only way that humans and machines will be able to cooperate as a unit in the future. The team was founded in December 2018 by Maximilian Wächter and Farbod Nezami and now consists of a total of 15 people working on our projects.
